Garry Gorr
Our hearts are broken but God decided it was time to call Garry home. On January 27, 2024, Garry passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family.
Garry was born on August 21, 1953, to Eldo and Harriett Gorr. He graduated from MSOE. Garry married the love of his life, Maria "Cookie" De La Rosa on June 23, 1979. He served in the United States Air Force. Garry enjoyed being a member of Faith Bridge Church. He liked biking, camping, golfing, walking, bowling, music and going to Disney World with his family. Garry was a Ham Radio Operator and a Brewers and Packers fan. He adored his family; his grandsons were his pride and Joy.
Garry will be deeply missed by his wife Cookie, daughter Shelly (Edson) Melendez, son Shawn (Katrina) Decker, his pride and joys Luca and Leo, brother Darren (Cara) Gorr, sister Eydie (Jeff) Smolik, brother-in-law Marco (Dianne Guirsch) Sayas and sister-in-law Louisa Platto. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Family and friends are invited to honor Garry at Faithbridge Church on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 9:30 a.m.
