Gail Patricia Oversen (LePoidevin)Gail Oversen (LePoidevin) of Goshen, Indiana, lost her battle with cancer on January 19, 2012. She was 53. She was born in Racine, Wisconsin, to John S. 'Jack' LePoidevin and Patricia A. LePoidevin (James) on December 5, 1958.Gail was a graduate of Wm. Horlick High School ('77), Racine, and moved with her husband and sons to Goshen in 1991, where she resided until her death. A loving and devoted mother, Gail was very active in support of her sons' sporting and academic activities throughout their schooling. She was also a partner in a residential painting business, PMS Painting, serving homes in the Goshen area.Gail is survived by her sons, Drake S. Oversen and Spencer C. Oversen of Goshen. She was preceded in death by her father and mother. Surviving are her brother, Dean R. LePoidevin of Sussex, WI, his wife Ruth, their sons Elliot J. LePoidevin and his wife Lauren (Waukesha, WI), Alec S. LePoidevin (Seoul, South Korea) and Zachary J. LePoidevin (Fond du Lac, WI). In addition, Gail is survived by her sister Linda J. LePoidevin of Racine, WI. Arrangements are being made by the Purath-Strand Funeral Home of Racine. Visitation and a brief service are scheduled for Monday, January 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with inurnment at Mound Cemetery immediately following.In addition, a memorial service for Gail has been scheduled in Goshen, IN.
