In the 1970s, Fred created an arcade that traveled with various carnivals around the Midwest - securing many lifelong friendships "on the road. "
Uncle Fred's Old Time Photos was born around 2000 for Fred and Carol to continue to be involved in fairs. Even though he was retired from teaching, he often said, "If you stop working, you get old."
In 2008, Fred built a "grab joint " concession trailer for his sons to continue with the family tradition of traveling the Midwest carnivals.
In recent years, Julia and Gary have joined the business learning as much as possible from Fred's extensive knowledge on nearly every topic.
