Obituary
Fred was born to the late Fred and Sarah (Ernst) Klaus on February 10, 1936. Fred Graduated from Racine Lutheran High in the class of 1954. He Married Donna Mueller June 1956 at Mt Pleasant Lutheran Church. They were blessed with two children Jeffrey Allen and Lynda Kay. Fred married Sandra Patrick January 2, 1981 in Las Vegas. He was employed at Green Thumb Inc., Western Printing and Angel Lithographing. He retired in 1996 and moved to Arbor Vitae, WI. Then back to Racine in 2003. Fred loved his family, enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and time in the north woods. His flower garden was his passion, especially his Dahlias.
Fred is survived by his children Jeff (Sue) Klaus and Lynda Berard, Grandchildren- Joe (Chelsea) Klaus, Jessica (Johnny) Ward, Trevor Berard, Krysta Henningfield and Rebecca Berard, Great Grandchildren – Kylie Haubrich, Addyson Berard, Summer Berard, Aadan Abdi, Jocelynn Ward, Jackson Ward, Michael Klaus, Kayden Klaus and Carson Klaus, Sisters Judith (Bill) Hurtienne and Donna (Roger) Leroy, sister in law - Gloria Wagner and Virginia Forbes and brother in law - William Patrick. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Sandra Patrick, parents Fred and Sarah Klaus, sister in laws Isabelle Reynolds, Marian Sroka, Jeanette Williams, Nancy Patrick and Shirley Patrick.
Visitation with the family will be held from 9:30AM until time of service at 11AM at Grace Lutheran Church 3700 Washington Ave Racine, WI on Thursday April 25 th , 2024. Following the service, interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Grace Lutheran Church or Racine Lutheran High School in memory of Fred Klaus.
