RACINE – Frank J. Vita, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 13, 2014 at the age of 70. Frank was born in Kenosha on January 24, 1944 to Frank J. and Della L. (nee White) Vita. On April 6, 1973 he married the former Jacque R. Scott. Frank had been employed by Young Radiator Company for over twenty seven years and retired from Acme Die Casting after more than ten years. Frank loved watching TV, woodworking and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Jacque R. Vita; daughters, Cherie L. (Brad) Vita-Lenk and Darlene M. Vita; grandchildren, Marissa, Jonathon, Max and Alex; sisters, Jill (Ron) Zimmer, Colette (Vern) Laudenbach and Colleen Kuebelbeck; and brother, William "Bill" (Toni) Vita. Frank is further survived by his mother-in-law Myrtle A. Scott and his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Connie L. (Robert) Fink, Denise Y. (Bill) Heinen, Devra O. Scott, Patrick N. (Michele) Scott, Ramona L. (Bryan) O'Connor and Rodney W. (Corinne) Scott. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends. Frank was preceded in death by his mother, Della L. (Vita-White) Cantrell; father, Frank J. Vita; sister, Linda L. (Doyle) Free; father-in-law, Harvey I. Scott; brother-in-law, Michael V. Scott; and sister-in-law, Donna M. Russell (nee Scott). Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the funeral home on Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of remembrance at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
