Kenosha – Frank L. Luedtke, 90, passed away at Parkside Manor on Wednesday, July 6, 2011. Frank was born on March 13, 1921 to Frank and Myrtle (nee, Jensen) Luedtke. He married the former Ruth L. Thielen in Racine on November 22, 1941. She preceded him in death on January 24, 2008. Frank served in the Merchant Marines during WWII from 1943 until 1944. He was the owner of several local area businesses with his friend and partner, Gilbert O'Day. Survivors include his children, Frank J. (Linda) Luedtke and Lindy Luedtke; grandchildren, Christopher J. Luedtke and Cody M. Luedtke; his brother, Warren (Helen) Luedtke; and very special friend, Joseph Fink, his neighbor and best friend for years. Frank is also survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Bernice Reed and Jane Skover. Funeral services for Frank will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. Private Interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services.
