Evelyn Annette Madsen Racine- Evelyn Annette Madsen (nee: Paulson), 89, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints on Wednesday, January 11, 2012. Evelyn was born in Racine, WI on May 10, 1922 to Oscar and Helen (nee: Malmquist) Paulson. Evelyn married Robert A. Madsen in Racine on May 9, 1945. He preceded her in death on June 21, 2005. Evelyn was known for her love for and dedication to her family, deep faith, kindness and compassion. She will be dearly missed. Evelyn is survived by her children, Helen (Stephen) Ujvarosy, Barbara (Walter) Ott, Paul (Vicki) Madsen, Mark (Judy) Madsen, Carol Hillman, Roger (Barbara) Madsen, James (Linda) Madsen, Linda (Daniel) McCabe, and Karin (Gerald) Dinda; 20 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Susan Madsen; sisters, Doris (Norman) Madsen and Marian Pricher. Evelyn is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, son, David Madsen and a sister, Joanne Broberg. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 13, 2012 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Saturday morning from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. Funeral services for Evelyn will follow at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Billy Soetenga officiating.
