Obituary

STURTEVANT – Esther Anna Primuth, nee Borgardt, 90, passed away at home on Saturday, May 7, 2016. Esther was born on February 18, 1926 to Godfrey and Sophia (nee, Ruppel) Borgardt. On May 18, 1946, she married Helmuth Primuth. He preceded her in death. She was proud of her life's work on the Borgardt family farm and twenty years at Borzynski's Farm & Floral; last working at Schultz Greenhouse. Esther was a faithful lifelong member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church. She volunteered many hours at the Lutheran High School Thrift Shop. Survivors include her sons, Dan (Andrea) Primuth of Roscoe, IL and Mark (Ellen) Primuth of Racine; daughters, Karen (Greg) Bouchard of St. Cloud, WI and Lori (John) Torres of Union Grove, WI; twelve grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Esther is further survived by her sisters, Betty Borgardt of Kenosha, WI, Miriam (Tom) Dziekan of Yorkville, WI and Sharon (Dean) Bartel of Sturtevant; brother-in-law, Elmer (Marlene) Primuth of Liberty Township, OH; sisters-in-law, Judy Borgardt and Veryl Borgardt; step-sister, Olga Anderson of Tampa, FL; and Uncle Bob Borgardt of Franksville. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Esther was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Godfrey Borgardt, Jr., William Borgardt and LeRoy Borgardt; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Violet Primuth; her grandson, Brad Primuth; and sister-in-law, Carol Borgardt. Funeral Services for Esther will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, corner of Erie and Kewaunee Streets, on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jack Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the church on Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Memorials may be directed to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church Endowment Fund or Racine Lutheran High School.
