Racine – Esther E. Blank, 91, knew Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was called to her heavenly home on Sunday, July 7, 2013. Esther was born in Racine on March 14, 1922 to George and Viola (nee, Pulda) Hanson. She married Lester Blank. He preceded her in death. Esther attended Grace Church where she was active in the Breakfast Club for Seniors. Esther is survived by her loving fianc, Tom Edwards; sister, Marilyn Acklam; brother-in-law, James Foley and her niece, Susan (Charles) Kind. Esther is also survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert "Bob" Blank; and her brothers and sister, George Hanson, Jr., Arlene Foley and Darrel Hanson. Private family services for Esther will be held. Interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park. The family wishes to thank Wheaton Franciscan Hospice and the staff at Elizabeth Residence for their kind and compassionate care.
