RACINE – Emma P. Wridt, 100, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2016. Emma was born in Racine on April 22, 1916 to the late Julius Kristopeit and Minnie Niess. She graduated from Horlick High School on August 31, 1940. She married Alfred Wridt, Jr. Two sons were born to them, Thomas and Gerald. Emma was employed by Porters and J.C. Penney from where she retired as office supervisor. Emma is survived by her son, Gerald (Sally) Wridt; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brother, Donald Kristopeit; sister, Jackie (Ron) Eick and her ex-daughter-in-law, Jeanie Wridt. She was preceded in death by her husband after 58 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her son, Tom. A memorial visitation for Emma will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 9, 2016, beginning at 11 a.m. A brief service of remembrance will begin at 12 noon followed by a luncheon at the funeral home. A private entombment will take place at Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Wheaton Franciscan Home Health & Hospice, 1055 Prairie Drive, Mt.
