Racine - Eleanor F. (nee, Steinwender) Rizzo, 79, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. Eleanor was born in Racine on January 27, 1934 to August and Frieda (nee, Liebke) Steinwender She was married to Joseph E. Rizzo and he preceded her in death on December 3, 2003. Eleanor is survived by her son, John C. Olsen, III; grandchildren, Erica and James; and a great-granddaughter, Jessie; step-children, Sherry Rizzo, Steve (Cammie) Rizzo, Dawn (Dan) Fox and Lori (Steve) Fink; step-grandchildren, Tony Rizzo, Christopher Rizzo, Amy Rizzo, Lisa Rizzo, Theresa Fink, Nicholas Fink, Peter Fox and Sean Fox. Eleanor is also survived by her former husband, John C. Olsen, Jr.; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Oscar Steinwender; and her step-son, Joseph B. Rizzo. Funeral services for Eleanor will be held at the funeral home on Monday, April 9, 2013 at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Monday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Ray Schwartz and Lena Moore, whose help made Eleanor's life so much more pleasant. Also to the Staff at Divita Dyalisis Center and the ICU staff at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints for all of their compassionate care.
