Obituary

RACINE – Eleanor Krueger, 95, passed away at Ridgewood Care Center on Sunday, March 15, 2015. Ellie was born in Racine on July 2, 1919 to the late Ernst and Hulda (nee, Trick) Kahl. On January 3, 1942 she married Myron L. Krueger. He preceded her in death on May 9, 1995. Ellie was strong in her faith. Always a positive caring person, she found the good in everyone. She was active in the Ladies Guild at both Trinity Lutheran Church and Racine Lutheran High School and spent many hours volunteering at the Lutheran High Thrift Store on the north side. Ellie also loved spending time with her family at Rock Lake camping and fishing Survivors include her daughters, JoAnn (Bruce) Haselhuhn and Cynthia (Bruce) Fisher; grandchildren, David (Julie) Haselhuhn, Lisa (Michael) Madsen, Aaron (Beth) Fisher, Seth Fisher and Nathan (Jessi) Fisher; and her great-grandchildren, Kellyn Lock, Paul Haselhuhn, Autumn Madsen, Adelyn Madsen, Evan and Grace Fisher, Owen, Daphne and Claudia Fisher and Elijah, Caleb and Epharim Fisher. Ellie is also survived by other relatives and friends. A funeral service for Ellie will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2065 Geneva Street, on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 12 noon with Rev. David Gehne officiating. Interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Friday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 12 noon. Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church or School; or Racine Lutheran High School.
