Eleanor M. Dvorachek Racine - Eleanor M. (Nee, Graham) Dvorachek, 84, passed away at Wheaton-Franciscan-St. Mary's on Wednesday, March 7, 2007. Eleanor was born in Racine on June 24, 1922 to James H. and Mae (nee, O'Neil) Graham. Eleanor lived most of her life in Racine, living in Arkdale from 1973 until 1990. She married Gordon J. Dvorachek at St. Patrick's Catholic Church on April 19, 1947. Eleanor was employed by Western Publishing Company for seven years. She was a very active member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Dawn Committee at the church. Eleanor was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary with V.F.W. Post 6279 in Adams Friendship. Survivors include her husband, Gordon Dvorachek; daughter, Mary (Marc) Rother of Racine; sons, Michael (Barbara) Dvorachek of Las Vegas, NV and John (Molly) Dvorachek of Flower Mound, TX; grandchildren, John Rother, Amy Rother, Bryan Dvorachek and Leah Dvorachek; sisters-in-law, Lila Graham of Sun City, AZ and Rosemarie Beiring of Daytona Beach, FL; and brother-in-law, Ernest (Marion) Slovak of Beaver Dam. Eleanor is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, James Vincent Dvorachek; sister, Margaret Slovak; and brothers, Harlan Graham and Charles Graham. The Mass of Christian Burial for Eleanor will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1100 Erie St., on Monday, March 12, 2007 at 11 a.m. celebrated by Rev. Ricardo Martin. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. and on Monday morning at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. Memorials may be directed to St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
