Obituary

Elaine J. Zirkelbach Racine - Elaine J. (nee, Reinke) Zirkelbach, 84, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints on Monday, April 23, 2012. Elaine was born in Racine on September 14, 1927 to Joseph and Emma (nee, Schrader) Rienke. She married Lawrence J. Zirkelbach at St. Rose Catholic on September 17, 1949. He preceded her in death on February 8, 2011. Elaine was employed by Wisconsin Natural Gas Company for eleven years and had worked as a school bus driver for over sixteen years before her retirement. She loved spending her time bowling, playing bingo and cards at the various senior centers, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.Survivors include her daughters, Sandra McKenna, Cheryl (James) Deibler and Debra (Jesse) Villarreal; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Tony and Audrey Maritato, David and Barbara Zirkelbach, Nancy Zirkelbach, Linda Gonzales, and Mary Reinke and her bingo partner, Judy Neu. Elaine is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister; brother; mother-in-law and father-in-law; son-in-law; brother-in-law and sister-in-law.Funeral services for Elaine will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2065 Geneva Street, on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Kinzie Avenue. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. and at the church on Friday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church or the family. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses in the Cardiac I.C.U. and the nurses from Hospice on 2c for all of their care and kindness. They would also like to thanks Elaine's bingo partner, Judy Neu for her many years of friendship.
