Racine- Elaine D. Loper ,67, passed away at her residence on Sunday, May 23, 2021 with her family by her side.Elaine was born in Racine on November 19, 1953 to Charles and Ardis (nee: Welch) Jacobsen. She was a lifelong Racine resident. She married Terry Loper on April 1st, 1972 celebrating 49 years of pure love. Elaine was employed at Ametek for 20 plus years and then Insinkerator for 18 plus years. She was a caring person who always put the needs of others before herself. She enjoyed making others happy whether it was by baking them treats or entertaining them in her home. Elaine was an avid baker, not only making treats for her friends and family but her fur baby Lucy's as well. She enjoyed watching the Packers, going to the beach, doing puzzles, gardening, going to estate sales and shopping. She will be dearly missed by husband Terry, sons and daughter in law Michael (Billie) Loper and Randy Loper, grandchildren Marissa, Melanie, and Evan Loper, great grandson Kian, brothers and sisters Linda Pustol (WA), Chuck Jacobsen (N.D.), Gary Jacobsen (WI), Judy (Geoff) Conrad (GA) and LaJean Perry (S.C.) and brother in laws James (Sue) Fogt (WI), Gene (Astrid) Loper (OH), and John Loper (WA). Elaine is further survived by many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Kathy Kosterman and brother in law Donald Fogt.A visitation for Elaine will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 2:00 P.M. until the time of service at 4:30 P.M. The funeral service will be live-streamed for those unable to attend. There will be a private interment at a later time. Terry would like to express a special thank you to Astrid, Billie, Margie, and Jamie for the love, support, friendship and care given to Elaine.
