Racine – Elaine L. Baumann, 77, passed away at Willowgreen on Tuesday, August 27, 2013. Elaine was born in Wausau, WI on November 4, 1935 to Roland and Irene (nee, Schultz) Luedtke. She married David Baumann. He preceded her in death on December 25, 1976. Elaine retired from Racine Unified School District after more than seventeen years. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Caledonia where she sang in the choir. Elaine also loved gardening, cooking and sewing. Survivors include her children, William (Nancy) Baumann, Carl (Diana) Baumann, Richard (Debbie) Baumann and Katharine (James) Massmann; grandchildren, Jennifer (Ken) Ceser, Nicole (Greg) Werry, Missy (Keith) Inmann, Tammy Baumann, Melissa Baumann, Aaron Baumann, Rick Baumann, Jamie (Matt) Orval, Andy Massmann and Mary Massmann; great-grandchildren, Shevin, Cody, Emmy, Jeremy, Sierra, Samantha, Abby, Brandon and Lilliana; and her brother, Delbert Luedtke. Elaine is also survived by other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Elaine will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening, August 30, 2013 at 6 p.m. with Rev. David Wierschke officiating. Interment will take place in St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery in Hamburg, WI, on Tuesday, September 3, at 2:00 p.m. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Friday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.
