Dusanka Stanosevic Racine – Dusanka Stanosevic, 86, passed away at Ridgewood Care Center on Thursday, July 9, 2009. Dusanka was born in Zabare, Serbia on July 29, 1922 to Svetozar and Stanisava Zivic. She married Momcilo Stanosevic on November 14, 1943. He preceded her in death in 1991. Survivors include her son, Vladeta (Dragana) Stanosevic; grandchildren, Danko (Zdravica) Stanosevic and Daniela "Danni" (Zarko) Ilic; and great-grandson, Stefan Stanosevic. Dusanka is also survived by other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Dusanka will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 13, 2009 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dragan Mitrovic officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. with the Mali Pomen at 7 p.m. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Dusanka's caregivers and the staff at Ridgewood Care Center for all of their kindness, care and compassion.
