RACINE – Dorothy A. "Farmer" Hansen, 96, passed away at home on Saturday, November 4, 2017. Dorothy was born in Racine on April 20, 1921 to Lyle and Emma (nee, Knoflock) Bones. Raised on the family dairy and vegetable farm, she then married Harold A. Hansen, and they celebrated 65 years of marriage. Harold preceded her in death on December 11, 2011. Dorothy retired from Western Publishing Company. She is survived by her son, Roy (Penny) Hansen; granddaughter, Amy Hansen; and 'special niece', Mary Horner. Funeral services for Dorothy will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park Chapel on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family in the chapel from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m.
