Dorothy Louise Goudie Racine - Dorothy Louise (nee, Wiechers) Goudie, 87, passed away at her home on Tuesday, October 30, 2007. Dorothy was born in Racine on December 15, 1919 to Oscar Theodore and Lydia Louise (nee, Hilker) Wiechers. She married Wayne F. Goudie on October 30, 1964 and he preceded her in death in 1984. Dorothy graduated from Washington Park High School. She retired from Western Publishing Company and in retirement worked for Manpower and the Machinist Union before retiring again in 2005. Dorothy was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She had a great spirit and zest for life and was an inspiration to the many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and the many friends that she left behind. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; sisters and brothers; being the last of her immediate family. Memorial services for Dorothy will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place followed by inurnment at West Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to a charity of one's choice.
