RACINE – Dorothy M. David, 92, passed away at home on Monday, January 5, 2015. Dorothy was born in Racine on April 6, 1922 to Robert and Adeline (NEE, Griesbach) Love. She graduated from Wm. Horlick High School, Class of 1940. On September 1, 1946 in Eagle River she married Warren David. He preceded her in death on February 1, 1991. Dorothy was a member of Second Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her sons, Robert David and Donald (Karen) David; daughters, Kathleen (Anthony) Trentadue, Nancy (Jay Winkie) Dresen and Jamie (George) Lambert; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; as well as great-great grandchildren; sister Donna Love Radewan; and her sister-in-law, Charlotte David. Dorothy is also survive by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ayleen Nelson Vobeda; brother-in-law, Roger David; and nephew, John David. Funeral services for Dorothy will be held at Second Presbyterian Church on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and at the church on Friday morning from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Memorials may be directed to Second Presbyterian Church.Special thanks to her granddaughter, Christina Kosterman and to the staff at Vitas Hospice Care for their compassionate care.
