Dorothy V. DargeRACINE- Dorothy V. Darge, 94, passed away at Ascension Healthcare- All Saints on December 6, 2017.Dorothy was born on March 30, 1923 to Karl and Lenora Tessmer. She married Donald Darge, he preceded her in death in 1991. Dorothy worked as a waitress at various restaurants over the years. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church for more than 66 years and was a member of the Mission Guild and helped out in other areas of the church. Dorothy enjoyed volunteering and working in her flower gardens. She was a great cook and made pies like no other person could make, it was her secret. Dorothy is survived by her children, Maxine (Thomas) Czarnecki and Rodney Darge and sister Florence Bingam. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Dorothy was preceded in death her son Delmar, daughter Joan, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Private services for Dorothy were held. Interment took place in West Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials to St. John's Lutheran Church and the Altar Guild have been suggested.Special Thank You, to all the doctors, nurses and CNA's at Ascension All Saints Hospital, Racine for their special care and friendship.
