Doris Jean LarsonRacine- Doris Jean Larson, 84, passed away Ridgewood Care Center on Wednesday, February 1, 2012.Doris was born in Racine on April 7, 1927 to Carl and Ruth (nee: Bradley) Larson. She enjoyed Crafts, word search puzzle and bowling. Doris was a gifted artist. She was extremely outgoing and formed many friendships at Racine Residential Care. Doris is survived by her dear friend, Cheryl Sumnicht and her family. She is also survived by friends at Racine Residential Care and Ridgewood Care Center. Doris was preceded in death by her parents.Funeral services for Doris will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. Interment will take place in Mound Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 1:00p.m. until the time of services.Cheryl would like to thank the staff at Racine Residential Care, Ridgewood Care Center and Hospice Alliance for the outstanding care given to Doris.
