Donna Jean Andersen RACINE - Donna Jean Andersen, nee, Krenzke, 67, passed away at home on Saturday, August 22, 2015 Donna was born in Racine on June 6, 1948 to John and LaVerne (nee, Olson) Krenzke. She married Marvin E. Andersen on June 1, 1968 and celebrated 44 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on September 16, 2012. Donna was a 1966 graduate of Racine Lutheran High School. She attended Carthage College and earned a Paralegal Degree in 1988 and her Bachelor of Art Degree in History in 1998. Donna's career was in banking, working for Southeastern Savings, North Shore Bank, Deutsche Credit, Transamerica, Elmwood Bank and Tri-City Financial. She was also a Longaberger consultant for many years.Donna was a long standing member of Grace Lutheran Church where she enjoyed singing in the Choir, attending Bible study and was a member of the Alter Guild. Donna loved her dog, Beau, but most of all she loved her children and grandchildren.Survivors include her children, Kristen (Steve) Schlicht and Erik (Andrea) Andersen; grandchildren, Joshua and Katelyn Schlicht, and Annabelle Andersen; mother, LaVerne Krenzke; brothers, John (Vicky) Krenzke and Tom Krenzke; sister-in-law, Marleen (James) Johnson; Donna is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father.A memorial service for Donna will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 3700 Washington Avenue, on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 6 p.m. with Rev. Randall Poppe officiating. Entombment will take place at West Lawn memorial park. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the church on Friday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers: Monetary Gifts to Grace Lutheran Church.Family's choice of flower shop is Miller's Flowers.
