Franksville – Donald E. "Miller" Miller, 83, passed away at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee on Thursday, February 11, 2010. Miller was born in Milwaukee on April 14, 1926 to Albert and Helen (nee, Rossman) Miller. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp during WWII and Korea. He married the former Helen Schultz Butler on June 30, 1961 celebrating 49 years of marriage. Miller was employed by Stern Waste Paper & Iron for over thirty years, last working and retiring from Wiscon Products. Miller is survived by his wife, Helen Miller; children, Mary (Dale) Vorlob, Kim (Mary Lou) Miller and Luke (Veronica) Miller all of Racine, Paul Miller of Suffolk, VA, and Rachael (Rob) Bandkowski of Racine. He is also survived by children of a former marriage, Donna and Robert; ten grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and sisters, Marceile Clark of Rice Lake and Patricia Bahrs of Racine. Miller is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial services for Miller will be held at the funeral home on Monday, February 15, 2010 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to ones favorite charity. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff on the 9th Floor at St. Luke's, Dr. Michael Mullane, Dr. Ajitkumar Parekh and especially Dr. Santosh Krishnan for all of their compassionate care shown to Miller.
