Donald J. EschmannRacine- Donald J. Eschmann, 68, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare on Thursday, March 27, 2008.Donald was born in Racine on February 21, 1940 to William and Frances (nee: Daquisto) Eschmann. He married Shirley Christman in Racine on July 14, 1962. Donald was employed with Case Company until his retirement. He was a member of the Case 20 year Club. Donald enjoyed spending time with his family. Every year Donald looked forward to having family and friends at his home for a big fourth of July celebration.Donald is survived by his wife, Shirley Eschmann; sons and daughter in law, Jeffrey, James (Kim), Jerry, and Jay Eschmann; grandchildren, David, Robbie, and Riley Eschmann, Tyler and Elise Eschmann, Ryann, Brittney, Selena, and Jerry Eschmann, Jr; great granddaughter, Jayden Brook Eschmann; siblings, Lawrence (Eleanor) Eschmann, Marlene (Vinee) Heusdens, and Bill (Lynda) Eschmann and mother in law, Agnes Peterson. Don is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Donald was preceded in death by his parents. He is further survived by his dogs, Ginger and Cindy. Funeral services for Donald will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Holly Anderle officiating. Private family interment will take place. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services.The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare for the wonderful care given to Donald.
