Dolores T. Huntowski, 94, passed away at St. Monica's Senior Living on Saturday, January 9, 2021. Dolores was born in Milwaukee on November 11, 1926 to the late Joseph and Katherine (nee Stetz) Kozak. She married Michael S. Huntowski, in June 1946, and celebrated 68 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on December 3, 2014. Dolores was employed by and retired from Briggs & Stratton. She was an active poll worker for the City of St. Francis, an avid bingo player, enjoyed gardening, and loved sharing her sewing and quilting talents with her family. Most of all, she loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Kathy Linday, Karen (Ed) Rec and Charlene (Steve) Smikowski; grandchildren, Dan Materi, Nicole (John) Maziasz and Anthony Rec; her great grandchildren, Harrison and Porter Maziasz; and a special niece, Barb Jankowski. Dolores is also survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters and two brothers. In keeping with Dolores's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be held. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the Staff at St. Monica's and St. Croix Hospice for all their devoted care.
