Obituary
Diane was born in Racine on November 11, 1937 to James and Ann Vash. She graduated from Horlick high school. Diane married Conrad Basterash on October 1, 1955, celebrating 66 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on February 1, 2022. She loved spending time with her granddaughter and the apple of her eye, her great granddaughter Marley. Diane enjoyed gardening, traveling and gambling.
She is survived by her daughters Connie (Mark Gissell) Basterash and Lee Ann Basterash, granddaughter Melanie (Matt Callis) Basterash and great granddaughter Marley Basterash. Diane is also survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial visitation for Daine will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Inurnment will take place in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
