Delores M. Abrahamson Racine Delores M. Abrahamson, nee, Engel, 78, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints on Sunday, June 24, 2007. Delores was born in Racine on December 28, 1928 to Allen C. and Myrtle V. (nee, Kalaski) Engel. She was united in marriage to Raymond J. Abrahamson on July 31, 1948. He preceded her in death on January 31, 1997. Delores was employed by O & H Bakery for over 20 years. She was a kind, generous, and loving mother and grandmother. She devoted her life to her family and helping others.She is survived by her children, David (Kathie) Abrahamson, Sandra Abrahamson, Nora (Steve) Mathe and Nancy Abrahamson; grandchildren, Rachelle (Tim) Burke, Kerry Abrahamson, Kelly Abrahamson, Stacie Abrahamson, Jodi (Rick) Leonard, Janis Mathe, Jeremy Abrahamson and Zachary Abrahamson; great-grandchildren, Connor, Collin and Caden Burke; sisters and brothers, Ellen Crock, Shirley Deno, Charles Engel, Barbara Tullock, Richard Engel, Gail Stewart, Diane Veselinov, Robert Engel, Gary Engel and Kathy Veselinov. Delores is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Verna Branstead. Funeral services for Delores will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Sara VanDeBerg officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. and on Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
