Racine – Dawn Marie Grulich, 65, passed away at Froedtert Memorial Hospital in Wauwatosa on Friday June 28, 2013. Dawn was born in Racine on August 18, 1947 to James and Edna (nee, Bolman) Flanigan. She was strong in her faith, which was evident in her daily life. Dawn was a member of Grace Church. She was a kind and loving person, taking pride and joy in her family. Dawn is survived by her two sons who she was very proud, Peter Lui and Matthew (Nikki) Lui; her grandchildren, Alex and Jordan; and her sister and brothers, Pat Hoffman, Dan (Cheryl) Flanigan, Tom (Joyce) Flanigan and Mike Flanigan. Dawn is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Norbie Jacob; brother, Jim Flanigan; sister-in-law, Doree Flanigan; and brother-in-law, George Hoffman. A funeral service for Dawn will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials to the family have been suggested. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Dawn's God-Daughter, DeeAnn for all of her care and compassion shown to their mother throughout the years.
