RACINE – David A. Vartanian, 62, passed away at home on Monday, December 29, 2014. David was born in Racine on May 20, 1952 to Charles and Catherine (nee, Balian) Vartanian. He married the former Deborah Giese. David was a true Hot Rodder. He loved to restore old cars, and he was fanatical about the game of golf, but most of all he loved his sons and grandsons, and what was going on in their lives. Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years Deborah, sons Chad (Heather) and their son C.J and Cory Vartanian (Samantha McKay) and his son Brayden. David is further survived by his brothers and sister, Leon Vartanian, Kathy Vartanian and John Vartanian; his aunt Mary Vartanian, his loving sisters-in-law, Patricia (Roger) Blasi, Candice Bethards, Suzanne Carpenter and brother-in-law John T. (Sue) Giese; also many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends too numerous to list. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Susan McGraw; father and mother-in-law, Ralph (Carolyn) Giese; and sister-in-law Pamela Kenworthy. In keeping with David's wishes, cremation will take place followed by a private inurnment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
