Racine– David A. Collova passed away January 24, 2018 at his home in Florida at the age of 55 after a long battle with cancer. David fought until the very end and he showed us all what it meant to be brave. Dave was humble in nature and never hesitated to help a friend or loved one. David was born in Racine on December 26, 1962 to the late David T. Collova and Judith (nee, Singsheim) Collova. David retired from Racine Industries after a 35-year career as a production manager. David will be sadly missed and is survived by his loving and caring wife Nicolette L Collova, Sister Debra (Mike) Kenyon, Brother Rob (Marsha) Collova Sister Rachael Collova, bother Nathan Collova, Sister in law Nanette Behrens (Chris); Grandmother Myrtle Singsheim; daughters Chasity Acevedo, Jennifer (Brian) Forecki, Jessica Pirkl, son James Pirkl (Samie), son Mark Prott and 10 grandchildren. Other relatives and a world full of wonderful friends also survive Dave. An Inurnment service for David will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. Inurnment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Chapel on Hwy 32. Relatives and friends welcome. In lieu of flowers and at David's request, donations to the Oxford House Joe Prott or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital is preferred.A special thank you goes out to all his family and friends that helped make the final stages of his life more enjoyable and comforting.
