BURLINGTON – David T. Collova, 76, passed away at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee on Friday, July 22, 2016. Dave was born in Racine on March 30, 1940 to Frank and Sarah (nee, Gumina) Collova, Sr. He retired from American Motors after more than 30 years. In retirement he drove bus for Thomas Transportation for over 10 years, last driving for Medix for 7 years. Survivors include his children, David A. (Nikki) Collova, Debra A. (Mike) Kenyon, Rob T. (Marsha K.) Collova, Rachael L. Collova, Nathan A. Collova, Shelly Erickson, Justin Stefanski, Corey McGinnis and Tamara Stenberg; 18 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; his brothers and sister, Jeff (Sandra) Collova, Susan Motzko (Dan Reth) and Mike (Angelica) Collova; and sister-in-law, Judy Collova. Dave is also survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother and sister-in-law, Frank Collova, Jr.; and his brother-in-law, Ken Motzko. A funeral service for Dave will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 7 p.m. Inurnment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5 p.m. until the time of the service at 7 p.m.
