Daniel C. Derosier, 68 passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026 at his residence.

Dan was born in Milwaukee on February 7, 1958 to the late Clarence and Eraine (nee, Longtin) Derosier. He graduated from South Milwaukee High School in 1976. Dan served in the U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after many years as a carrier throughout the city. Dan was also active in the Old Timers Athletic Club.

Survivors include his sisters, Brenda (Rodney Lundell) Derosier and Giselle Lewitzke; and his brothers, Douglas (Tina) Derosier, Allen Derosier and Andy (Brianne) Derosier. Dan is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his nephew, Jason Derosier and his brother-in-law Bryan Lewitzke.

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Purath-Strand Funeral Home. A time of sharing will follow at 12 Noon. Inurnment with full military honors will take place on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove.
