Damon V Young Sr, 44, passed away at his residence after losing his battle with Glioblastoma Stage 4 brain cancer on Monday April13.2020. He graduated Horlick High School and then furthered his education at Gateway and got his degree in Auto Mechanics. Damon loved working on cars since he was little boy. He would do from fuse to rebuilding engine. He loved putting stereos to speakers and alarms in cars. He had that bond with his friend Chris (sound decisions). Damon was mechanic at GT Motors sports until his health went bad. Damon loved spending time with his kids & family. He had a Special bond with Damon Jr and Michael Jr., he spent endless hours teaching the boys everything about fixing cars from changing spark plug to an engine. He made sure they knew it all before he perished. Damon is survived by his girlfriend Katie Torosian, his children Amber (Andrea child mom) Damon Jr (Angela child mom) and Peyton and Zoey Young, Step sons Deion and Justice, Grandchildren Oliver and Emily, Mother Christine Young, Sisters Denise Prough, Julie and Melissa Young, Nieces and nephews Dejia Mosley ( Marquan), Taylor Prough, Michael Jr (La 'Sadiez) and Collin Prough, Great nephews Cameron Jayden, Nolan and Jesiah, His best friend of many years Jenni Meekma and Mike Eiben ( Golden Chicken), Mike was like his brother. He further survived by other relatives and many friends He was proceed in death by his Father Johnathon Young, sister Shelly and Special niece Kieana "Kiki" Young.A visitation for Damon will held on Friday, May 22, 2020 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Due to the safer at home restrictions only 10 people will be allowed in the funeral home at one time.
