RACINE – Dale D. Jelinek, 81, passed away on Sunday, August 7 ,2016 with his beloved wife by his side. Dale was born in Racine on September 12, 1934 to Leroy and Florence (nee, Smogor) Jelinek. After graduating from Park High School in 1952 he joined the U.S Marine Corp in 1954. He met and married his wife Suzanna (nee, Miller), in 1959. Dale retired from Western Publishing Company after 41 years as a Lithographer. He was a lifetime member of Wisconsin Sportsman's Club, Winchester, Boxhorn and Lake View Gun Clubs as well as many other gun clubs. Survivors include his wife, Suzanna Jelinek; brother, Gene (Loreen) Jelinek; nephew, Jeff; niece, Lisa; good friend, Pat Flynn and beloved companion Cookie. Dale is also survived by many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death his parents; sister in law, Mary; and special companion, Bronco. Memorial services for Dale will be held at the funeral home on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 12 noon. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Monday morning from 11 am until time of the service at 12 noon. A private family inurnment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to the Wisconsin Humane Society or Seasons Hospice.
