Cynthia Sue (nee: Krueger) Koepke, 70, died on January 23, 2023.

Cindy was born on July 8, 1952 in Albert Lea, MN to Harry G. and Margaret J. (Drommerhausen) Krueger. She was baptized at Pickerel Lake Concordia Lutheran Church in rural Albert Lea, MN, confirmed at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wells, MN. On January 5, 1975, Cindy married the love of her life, Wallace J. "Wally" Koepke in Wells, MN. Together they lived in Hoyt Lakes, MN, Muscatine, IA and Racine, WI. After nearly 48 years of marriage, Wally passed away on December 10, 2018.

Cindy spent her early life on the home farm in rural Albert Lea and in 1963 her family moved to Wells where her parents owned and operated the Golden Bubble Steakhouse and Ballroom. She graduated from Wells-Easton High School in 1970 and Mankato Area Vocational-Technical Institute with a degree in Electronic Data Processing. For many years Cindy enjoyed volunteering with AARP to help people complete their tax returns.

Survivors include her brother, Jim (Sandy) Krueger of Fort Myers, FL; sister, Karen (Chuck) Erickson of Alden, MN; sister-in-law, Sandy (Gary) Johnson of Eagle Lake, MN; brothers-in-law, Don (Jean) Koepke of Medina OH; Jim (Mary) Koepke of Minneapolis, MN; aunt, Darlene Britson of Racine, WI, 9 nieces and nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald S. and Ruth E. (Costello) Koepke; brother, Larry Krueger; and niece, Julie Krueger, many aunts, uncles and her beloved dog, Benji.

In keeping with Cindy's wishes, cremation has taken place. Cindy will be laid to rest with Wally in Hoyt Lakes Cemetery, Hoyt Lakes, MN.
