RACINE – Constance J. Preston, 63, went to meet Jesus on Monday, July 21, 2014. Connie was born in Milwaukee on September 19, 1950 to Joseph Preston and Joan (nee, Daines) Pollnow. In 1968 she graduated from South Division High School. She was employed by Ametek Lamb Electric for more than thirty years before retiring. Connie loved Elvis, her birds, and her faithful companion, Pepper; but most of all she loved life and her family. Survivors include her children, Antonio (Lisa) Garcia, Grace (James) Schultz and Gabriel Garcia;; her sisters and brothers, Rita Kirsch, Lori South, Joseph Preston, Jr., Marie Pollnow, William Pollnow, Jr. and Lisa McKee; grandchildren, Braden, Esperanza and Simon; and her step-mother, Donna Preston. Connie is also survived by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, William Pollnow, Sr.; and her brother, Frank. A memorial visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. A Memorial service will follow at 3 p.m.
