Racine – Clifton C. Heister, 62, was born to eternal life on Monday, March 26, 2012. Clif was born in Racine on September 30, 1949 to Franklin and Dorothy (nee, Younk) Heister. He married the former Patsy Weyhrauch and have been married over 39 years. Clif was employed by Racine County, retiring in 2004. He had many hobbies including, fishing, motorcycles, riding trikes, golf, crossword puzzles, telling jokes and singing, but most of all he enjoyed entertaining people with his magic. Clif performed magic for the past 50 years with his wife, Pat joining the show for the past three years. He had Rick Rogers as a magic partner for many years. Clif belonged to four magic clubs, serving as president and vice president for a few years. Clif was also very active in the Boy Scouts. Both he and his son achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, the first father and son to achieve this honor with the same troop. Clif loved life. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends traveling and on holidays. He touched the lives of many with his magic and in scouting; putting a smile on the face of everyone he met. He will always be remembered and sadly missed by his family and many friends. Clif is survived by his wife, Pat Heister; son, John (Lori) Heister; daughter, Jenifer Heister; mother, Dorothy Heister; nieces, Karri and Wendy; and nephew, Matthew. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Julie (Skip) Schwartz; mother-in-law, Irene Weyhrauch; uncle, Wally Krivsky; and many other aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father; grandmother, Bessie Younk; and uncle, Art Younk. Funeral services for Clif will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at 4 p.m. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 2 p.m. until the time of the service.
