Cindy Kay Vermey-Kalous, 61, passed away at home on Wednesday, February 5, 2020. Cindy was born in Racine on April 7, 1958 to Lynn and Donna (nee, Christiansen) Lang. She was a loving mother and step-mother; very caring and always gave everyone the benefit of the doubt. Cindy took good care of Steve and she will always be remembered for her strength, courage, and love. Cindy is survived by her companion of twenty years, Steve Kalous; father, Lynn Lang; daughter, Jamie Niver; step children, Ruth (Terry) Wenninger, LuRae (Jose) Tovar, Stacy (Rafael) Gomez, Stevan (Kaitlyn Scott) Kalous, Jr., Amanda Kalous, Heather Vermey-Graham, Rhonda Eick and Daniel Vermey; 30 grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Denise, Diane, Kim, Dawn, Lynn, Billie and Kevin; sister-in-law, Darlene; brothers-in-law, Gerald (Marilyn), Don and Albert (Sandy). Cindy is also survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother; and sister-in-law, Ruth.
