RACINE – Christine R. Rodgers, 67, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018. Chris was born in Racine on September 30, 1950 to Edward and Rose (nee, Mintler) Mianecki. She graduated from Carthage College with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. Chris served in the U.S. Army Reserve. She retired from Modine Manufacturing after 31 years. In retirement, Chris moved to Clark, WY and worked part time for the Clark County Schools. She was active in Junior Achievement and the American Red Cross. Chris enjoyed being with her family and friends at a Living Memorial on January 25th. Chris is survived by her husband of 37 years, Randal Rodgers; her son, Fritz (Jessica) Larsen; her brothers and sisters, Phyllis Olsen, Ronald Mianecki, Richard (Ginny) Mianecki, Gary (Sue) Mianecki, Robert (Lin) Mianecki, Cyndi Phillips, Judy (Brian) Hanson and Girard (Cathy) Mianecki; and her former husband and dear friend, Allen Larsen. Chris is also survived by her cats, Baxter, Fingers, Pookie; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and one sister. In keeping with Chris's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life is being planned for later this summer.
