Obituary
She was born in Kenosha on January 18, 1952 to the late Christian and Irene (nee: Langermann) Andreasen.
Christine was a 1970 graduate of Mary D. Bradford. She earned her bachelor's degree from UW-Madison and master's from Carthage College. She was a dedicated social studies teacher at JI Case High School until her retirement in 2014.
Christine adored her rescue cats. She enjoyed writing poetry and loved the music of Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, and the Beatles.
Tootie will live on through her nephew Chris Andreasen; nephew and niece Joe & Elle Andreasen; her great- nieces Kyihla and Lyra; and her sister Kathy Andreasen.
In addition to her parents, Christine is preceded in death by her brother Michael Andreasen.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Purath-Strand Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the WI Humane Society have been suggested.
