Racine – Celia R. Font, nee, Maldonado, 48, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints on Monday, January 6, 2014. Celia was born in Racine on June 29, 1965 to David and Azucena (nee, Jaimez) Maldonado. She worked as a receptionist for a non-profit organization and also worked at the Lighthouse Museum during the summer. Celia was a member of LULAC and she touched many lives. Celia is survived by her daughter, Luna Font; her mother, Azucena Maldonado; and many loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father. A funeral service for Celia will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 10, 2014 at 1 p.m. followed by interment at Graceland Cemetery. In keeping with Celia's wishes, there will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Celia Font Memorial Fund.
