Racine- Carol Katherine Saylor, 82, passed away at Ascension Healthcare- All Saints surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, May 12, 2018.Carol was born in Milwaukee to Walter R. and Katherine A (nee: Barlow) Kutz on February 1, 1936. On April 10, 1953 she was united in marriage to Kenneth C. Saylor, Sr. at Unity Evangelical Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on June 10, 1995. Carol was employed at McDonalds for 30 years. She was a member of Emmaus ELCA.Carol is survived by her children, Kenneth C. (Andrea) Saylor, Jr., Cheryl L. (Joseph) Vash, Kim C. (Dale) Howser, Keith B. (Cheri) Saylor, Kevin E. (Sheri) Saylor, Carol M. Yust and Karen K. Riekena; 19 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and siblings, Robert Kutz, Sandra (Thomas) Sanders, Mary (Craig) Danecki and John Barlow. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister in law Carolyn Kutz.Funeral services for Carol will be held at Emaus ELCA, 1925 Summit Avenue, on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Mary Janz officiating. Interment will take place in West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorials to Emaus ELCA have been suggested.
