RACINE – Carol Ann Ingersoll, 69, passed away at Hospice Alliance House in Kenosha on Tuesday, December 20, 2016. Carol was born in Racine on May 26, 1947 to Donald A. and Verna M. (nee, Sell) Tryber. On October 4, 1986 Carol married Neal Ingersoll, celebrating thirty years of marriage. She was an active member of St. Michael's Church. Carol's passion was her volunteer work; volunteering for the Harvest Outreach Food Pantry for over eighteen years. She was a caring and giving person and loved her Facebook friends, affectionately known as the "Porch Rockers". Survivors include her husband, Neal Ingersoll; children, Melanie (Mike) Thompson, Roger Lashley, Peggy (Ned Sorenson) Lashley, Scott (Marilyn) Ingersoll and Steve Ingersoll; twelve grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and her siblings, Lorrie (John) Hatley, Don (Sandy) Tryber, Bob Tryber and Diana Labecki. Carol is also survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her two brothers Calvin and Bill; her daughter-in-law, Kristine Lashley; and brother-in-law, David Labecki. A memorial service for Carol will be held at St. Michael's Church, 4701 Erie Street, on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Dustin Fecht officiating. Inurnment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, January 4, 2017 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m.
