Carol Ann Ciurro(nee: Childs-Draves)Racine- Carol Ann Ciurro (nee: Childs-Draves), 51, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare on Tuesday, October 19, 2010.Carol was born in West Allis on May 20, 1959 to Robert and Rosemarie (nee: Koszewski) Childs. She loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, preparing her catches to eat. Carol grew her own gardens and adored animals. She was a personal chef until she gave it up to stay home with her children. Carol treasured spending time with her grandchildren doing arts and crafts.She is survived by her mother Rosemarie Childs; children, Tennyle (James) Pavlik, Quenten, Tony and Joey Ciurro and Crystal (Ash) Salem; grandchildren, Justin, Brianne, Alyssa, Kareem and Rami; sisters and brothers, Chris (Tom) Beyers, Catherine (Bob) Young, Robert Childs, Ron (JoEllen) Childs and Cindy Anderson; and longtime partner, Benjamin Malacara. Carol is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Childs.A memorial service for Carol will be held at the funeral home on Monday, October 25, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. Private inurnment will take place. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
