Racine – Camilla M. "Cam" Jones, 92, passed away at Ridgewood Care Center on Saturday, February 13, 2010. Cam was born in Tomah, WI on August 26, 1917 to James William and Gertrude (nee, Handy) Jones. She was employed by the Wisconsin State Employment Service for over 35 years, retiring in 1982. Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Bob & MaryAnn Foreman, Gary & Ruth Smith both of California, Ernestine Smith of Oklahoma, Jim and Joyce Smith, Harvey Nichols both of Racine, Glen & Jan Jones and Bob Jones both of Tennessee; and special friends, Don & Marie Moe, and former neighbors and friends, Donna & Bob Powers. Cam is also survived by many other relatives and friends. The Mass of Christian Burial for Cam will be held at St. Edwards Catholic church, 1425 Grove Avenue on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. celebrated by Rev. Alan Bratkowski. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a charity of one's choice. Cam appreciated the kind help and assistance from the many wonderful employees at Willowgreen, where she resided at since 2003.
