Racine – BriAnna J. "Boo" Flick, 22, passed away at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin on Sunday, July 10, 2011. Boo was born in Racine on July 5, 1989 to Mark Flick and Susan (nee, Strak) Flick who survive her along with her sister, ShaiAnn (Joshua) Howard; brother, Kyle Flick; nephews, Jameson Howard and Julian Howard; paternal grandmother, Colleen Flick; and maternal grandfather, Thomas Strak. Boo is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Arlen Flick; maternal grandmother, Polly Strak; cousin, Jacob Flick; uncle, Jon flick; and brother, Joshua Lichtenwalner. A Mass of Christian Burial for Boo will be held at St. Rita's Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the oncology staff of Milwaukee Children's Hospital and St. Jude's Research Hospital.
