RACINE – Brad Lee W. Nimz, 50, passed away at home on Sunday, June 29, 2014 Brad was born in Racine on October 15, 1963 to Barry and Barbara (nee, Reinke) Nimz. He married the former Kristine Lueckfeld. Brad worked for School Service and Leasing for one year prior to working for Metro Milwaukee Auto Auction for over seventeen years. He retired from Generac due to illness. Brad was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle. Brad is survived by his wife, Kristine Nimz; his children, Michael Nimz, Kirsten Lueckfeld, Ian Lueckfeld, and Aron Hanson; grandchildren, Christopher Lueckfeld-Carls, Gpa's lil' buddy, Landen Schook and Gpa's lil' helper, Lillian Schook; his mother, Barbara Nimz; sisters, Brenda (Kevin) Wishau and Brooke (John) Rusfeldt; brother, Brent (Bridgett) Nimz; brothers-in-law, Paul (Selena) Lueckfeld and John Lueckfeld; and sister-in-law, Mary Lueckfeld. Brad is further survived by his nieces, Savannah Lenz and Zoe Wishau; nephews, Dallas Nimz and Eli Wishau; cousins, Aunts, uncles and his canine friend, Mack. He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents; aunts; uncles; and special canine friend, Eddie. A memorial gathering for Brad will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. A celebration of his life will be held at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family. The family would like to thank you for all of the support shown to them throughout Brad's illness.
