Obituary

FRANKSVILLE – Beverly M. Yazek, 76, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 7, 2016. Beverly was born April 22, 1940, daughter of the late Verlin and Mary Daughenbaugh. After graduating from Horlick High School, Beverly joined the U.S. Navy, where she met the love of her life, John M. Yazek. They were married March 13, 1961, and have been holding hands ever since. Beverly went back to school at age 42, became a Registered Nurse and worked many years at Becker Shoop Nursing Home. Beverly loved sewing, knitting, quilting and baking. She is known for her delicious spaghetti sauce and amazing fruitcake. Beverly is survived by her loving husband, John; son, John M. (Anne) Yazek, Jr.; daughter, Judi (Steve) Campeau; granddaughters, Sara (Tony) Lisheron, Stephanie (Scott) Rosandich and Alina; sisters, Donna (Paul) Roscizewski, Betty Daughenbaugh, Dorothy Fronk, Cathie (Terry) Hilleshiem and Diane Tourdot; her brother, David (Robin) Daughenbaugh; and brother-in-law, Jim Grant. Beverly is also survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mary and Carol; and brothers, Donald and James. In keeping with Beverly's wishes, private family services were held, followed by inurnment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.The rock of our family, Beverly, was incredibly proud of the strong, independent women her granddaughters have become.
