Beverly J. Jandl (nee: Andersen), 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 31, 2025.
Beverly was born in Racine on July 20, 1932, the daughter of Einer and Marion Andersen. Beverly was a lifelong resident of Racine. She grew up on the south side and graduated from Washington Park High School. Beverly married Edgar Jandl on November 29, 1959, at Bethesda Lutheran Church and they settled in Caledonia. She later worked at the College of Racine, Racine County Planning Council and finally at Bristol Myers Squibb/Surgitek until she retired in 1995. Beverly volunteered at the Caledonia Historical Society and served as the Treasurer of County Haven Cemetery.
She was a talented gardener who knew the Latin names of plants and flowers. She knew how to make them flourish. Beverly was a loyal Packer fan, was always up for a friendly chat, a game of cribbage and an ice-cold beer. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Beverly is survived by her son Jeffrey Jandl of Racine, twin granddaughters Anna and Kayla (Andrew Genson) and their mother Vicki Zywicki of Racin, great granddaughter Erin Kangas, sisters Barbara Greco of Suwanee, GA and Bonnie Burns of Lake Bluff, IL. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
